Last weekend was a good time for reenactment in the Midlands as the Severn Valley Railway held it's annual 1940s weekend and at Ashdown WW2 camp in Evesham the Wartime in the Vale event went ahead under fine blue skies.
On the SVR the Homeguard were their usual alert selves at the observation post next to the Engine House at Highley waiting for the action to start.
Whilst over at Ashcroft Camp it was mainly Military Vehicles, with some 270 plus taking part over the weekend. One of the many motorcycles on display was this WW2 German BMW with Sidecar.
