Between the large scale battle re-enactments at the Sheffield Fayre, smaller groups provided Living History tableaux throughout the day.
Members of the Albini Household performed acts of single combat with the Knight Templar being the villain of the piece. After roundly defeating his first opponent, he received his come-uppance at the hands of a knight bearing the arms of the Neville Earl of Warwick with an armoured knee to a sensitive area. (actually it was husband and wife fighting on the field)
Also putting on a display was the Lion Rampant group, with some energetic sword fighting and role play.
The Roman Army in the shape of the Legio VIII also put in an appearance.
