Kholapur in the mist and steam

Kholapur is a London Midland and Scottish Jubilee calls engine currently out of service in Barrow Hill roundhouse. Built in 1934 she lasted until almost the end of steam in 1968 when she was purchased by the Standard Gauge Steam Trust and so brought into the world of preservation.

Seen here across the turntable in Barrow Hill Roundhouse. the engine in the forground is BR Standard Class 2 84019.
