And so time passes ....

.... and the sun goes down over Liverpool Bay and the Perch Rock Lighthouse moves into shadow. On the far left can be seen the windmills of the Burbo Bank wind farm.

I really wanted the setting sun to be more central on this but to get the picture I would have had to wade out into several feet of the River Mersey so I settled for this view.

Wow, this shot actually made me homesick - well, for a second! You forget the Mersey can actually look pretty! lol

Sun is fine where it is Les...as for wind farms....I hate them

I am glad you were scared of the merciful river

The composition you have now is almost exemplary for me.

Excellent, except for the spots you left up there to the right.

Les Auld: I thought I can spotted them all Louis, just goes to show you need to check and check again, must get around to cleaningthe sensor. Thanks for the comment.

Good range of oranges and threatening violet - but I think wading out a few feet isn't too much to ask is it? ;o)

Les Auld: Not really Mike, although negotiating the quicksands can be a bit dicey but you do have to risk it to get the ONE picture, or you can just make it an also picture instead. Thanks for the comment.
