The Old Central Technical School...
..... Later an annex to the Liverpool Polytechnic (Where I studied for my HNC in Electrical Engineering as a Post Office Apprentice so many years ago) stands at the corner of Byrom Street and William Brown Street in Liverpool. It now serves a purpose as offices for National Museums, Liverpool.
It was designed by E. W. Mountford in 1896 after he had won a competition to be the architect, he also designed the Old Bailey in London. It was opened in 1901
