OMG, Les. Another fabulous shot. But what, pray tell, is sticking out of the water?!
Les Auld: Thanks Ginnie, I believe it is a mile marker for the ships that pass by.
Beautiful sky !!! The contrast with this post creates a special feeling. I put it in my likeyes.Ann

Sublime image, Les. Got to ask : yesterdays sublime image - is this where there are 100 or so life size figures anchored in the sand? Mike
Les Auld: Thanks Michael, yes the installation is called "Another Place" and is on Crosby foreshore to the north of Liverpool.
This is the likey of the day - Standing ovation !!

In the words of the song should it not be "Waterloo Sunset"?
I like the shape of the marker. Nice one Les.
Les Auld: Good point Alistair, maybe if they moved it half a mile down the road it would be in Waterloo, but then it would be a half mile marker. Thanks for the comemnt.
