Reliving Old Memories

Last Monday was for travelling from Kidderminster to Chipping Norton in the Cptswolds. A leisurely journey along roads and through places that used to be part of our old life when we lived in Birmingham and spent days out in the Cptswold villages. So heading through Broadway, the Swells, the Slaughters and Bourton on the Water then onto Chipping Nortn in the evening.

With the weather fine and sunny the warm yellow stone of the village buildinsg glowed in the sunlight. The wisteria in Broadway looked grand it it's own fine way.

The River Windrush runs through the Swells, Upper and Lower Slaughter before heading for Bourton on the Water.

And finally Bliss mill in Chipping Norton set in a field full of buttercups.

All in All a  fine lazy day for travelling.

A fine set of shots Les, we went to Bourton a couple of years back, and of course spent last weekend on the edge of the Cotswolds at Charlecote.
Les Auld: We used to drive through Charleote on our eandering drives down to the Cotswolds, happy days. Thanks for the comment Brian.
