Beware of Trains ...

.... They are contagious, same sign different railways.

Two fine days on the West Somerset Railway with sun and great locomotives to keep you company, The GWR engine that never was, 9351 rebuilt from a tank locomotive, heads into Williton with an early eveing train.

Followed on Sunday by another fine day on the Severn Valley Railway with more sun and great locomtives, ex LNER A4 class 4464, Bittern, stands at the end of Bridgenorth Station before heading back to Kidderminster with the last train of the day.

That mogul is the real thing Les: the GW were actually going to build a class of these but never got round to it. The A4 is lovely but personally I prefer them in their final BR condition
Les Auld: The mogul really works well, the GWR did miss out on this one, as for the A4 they do look good in either livery although I would like to see one in Silver. Thanks for the comment.
They don't scare me!
Les Auld: Nor me Elizabeth, thanks for the comment.

Great captures Les know the West Somerset well great place to capture the age of steam.
Les Auld: It is a grand railway Peter, I try to visit once a year for either the spring or autumn gala. Thanks for the comment.
Couple of fine pictures Les. I bet the Severn Valley was busy!
Les Auld: Busy enough Bill, thanks for the comment.
Looks like you had a busy weekend Les, two fine shots in decent weather.
Les Auld: Busy but enjoyable Brian, thanks for the comment.
