I see you're still doing it old friend. Love the shot and where in the world were you shooting from for this one ?
Les Auld: High on a bank alongside the arena at the Victory show Johnny, thanks for the comemnt.
Wonderful, Les. Really striking.
Les Auld: Thanks Graeme, seemed to work OK.

This Me109 was never German, it was only active in the Spanish Air Force, it carries a Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine, the same as the Spitfire, and in Spain called HA-1112 "Buchon", They were used in the movie "Battle of Britain" (in the Tablada military airport in Seville, in the film was the German base with He111 and Ju52 also Spanish by then) and subsequently sold to private collectors.

Les Auld: Thanks Armando, I have seen the Buchon at several air shows this year and there is always a good performance out of it.
Great shot Les. I don't suppose there are any genuine 109s still flying are there?
Les Auld: Perhaps one Bill, thanks for the comment.
Flight Control might consider this to be a near miss
Les Auld: Operations may consider it a close attack, thanks for the comment Richard.
