I remember these switchboards from my Post Office Apprentice days back in the sixties, not much changed from those used during the war.

I remember one from the long since gone Central station in Blackpool Les, I've still got one of the rotary dials, I'm looking at it now, it reminds me of how things used to be, when I'm telling my Mac to hurry up! smile

It's funny really, it doesn't seem that long ago but the 60s were half a century ago!
