Les Auld: Just before the rain came down Ayush, thanks for the comment.
I love them! Great capture!
Les Auld: Thank you Elizabeth, appreciate the comment.
Excellent marching shot Les... my goodness now this brings back memories for me as a lead majorette. Before there were majorette boots we wore spats like these guys. I made so many good friends over about 10 years of parades with all kinds of marching bands including pipe & drum corps.
Les Auld: It does sound like you enjoyed those times Jaquelyn, good memories should be brought to the fore every now and then, Thanks for the comment.
A wonderful shot Les. I love Pipe Bands.
Les Auld: The sound is just grand as well Frances, thanks for the comment.

Not Scottish then: how unexpected!
Les Auld: Shouldn't be too much of a surprise Chris, there are many pipe bands that are not from the Auld Country. Thanks for the comment.

That is so cool, Les. You did them proud, and vice versa.
Les Auld: There is just something about a Pipe and Drum band Ginnie, they stir the soul. Thanks for the comment.
Great shot Les, I was there but I missed these, after my recent comments to you, I found it,shall we say, interesting..But great for photos.
Les Auld: Interesting is quite a good word Frank, and there are many photo opportunities there. I saw quite a few that I recognised from various clubs. Thanks for the comment.
Very good Les, i heard these in the distance while i snapped else where.
Les Auld: That's probably why we did not see each other then Mick, distance being what it is. Thanks for the comment.

It must be said that the regalia does strike one as fearsome.
Les Auld: They do look like they could walk right through you and not feel a thing. Thanks for the comment Chad.

Nice shot Les, Imagine this lot coming out of a mist.
Les Auld: Now there is an idea for an edit, where did I put my fog and mist filter. Thanks for the comment John.

They look majestic. Well shot. I thought they were Scottish?
Les Auld: Many pipe bands are not actually Scottish, they just aspire to it. Thanks for the comment Savo.
A grand sight Les..The locals must be proud.
Les Auld: Quite so Ron, thanks for the comment.

Les Auld: They sounded OK too Linda, thanks for the comment.
I must admit to liking the sound of the pipes and drums, we have a tattoo taking place in Shepshed very soon.
Les Auld: It has grown in me as well Brian, The Black Bear and Scotland the Brave send shivers down my spine. Thanks for the comment.
