I like the texture, Les. Is it just me but does the guy appear to be showing his man boobs? wink
Les Auld: He is a Roman Gladiator Alan, it is probably all the red meat he eats. Thanks for the comment.
Ooer! This would make a great cover for one of those fantasy books that you see everywhere since Lord of the Rings became popular
Les Auld: So it would Bill, thanks for the comment.
A strange hulk.
Les Auld: The Argos, a fine ship in its time, thanks for the comment John.

Jason seems to have lost his crew overboard - terrific!
Les Auld: Or maybe the strange cloud they have just sailed through has put them to sleep. Thanks for the comment Mike.
What a boat that is! Would love to see it in person. Your treatment makes it kind of spooky.
Les Auld: The boat is the Argos Mary, star of the film Jason and the Argonauts. Is is standing on a bit of grass in Charlestown, Cornwall. The company that built it for the film is based there.

It does feel really ghostly, excellent Les smile
Les Auld: I was aiming for foggy but I like ghostly better. Thanks for the comment Linda.

Another re-enactment of some kind? - or is this the result of boat watching one foggy day?
Textures etc. makes it an excellent picture.
Les Auld: Thanks Louis, the boat is the one that starred in the film Jason and the Argonauts, now resident in Charlestown, Cornwall, and the man is a Roman Gladiator. Seemed to go together OK.
Powerful image, great job
Les Auld: Thanks Ayush, appreciate the comment.

Truly bizarre - what a strange atmosphere. What is the chap wearing?!
Les Auld: Thanks Ingrid, the man in the bow is a Roman Gladiator with a full helmet that was doing his stuff at the Festival of History, like the bizarre angle.
A real ghost story sort of image presented this way Les.
Les Auld: Thanks Brian, I was aiming for a bit of mystery in the image, like the ghost story angle. A bit more work and it will be channelled towards a creative competition.
