Les, I totally don't know what to say to you... if I didn't know better I'd say all these were taken in the 1940's, with the top being pencil colored after processing! Fantastic job!
Les Auld: Thanks you for the compliment Elizabeth, I really appreciate it.

This is amazing work, Les, not only from those reenacting the scenes but from the photographer ┬┤shooting┬┤ them!
Les Auld: Thanks Ginnie, the re-enactors really take the event to heart, thanks for the comment.
excellent treatment, the tones are spot on IMO
Les Auld: Thanks Ayush, appreciate the comment.

Great work, Les, especially on the black and white images; no clue at all on the trench images to say these weren't from WWI.

Well done to those taking part in the re-enactment, too!
Les Auld: Nor any real clue to say the trench only existed as a mock-up above ground either Alan, thanks for the comment.

These are excellent Les, they actually look like they are from the time. Great treatment smile
Les Auld: Thanks Linda, I think they need a bit more work yet though.
a cracking trio of pictures Les. You don't picture WW1 in colour!
Les Auld: Certainly not bright and beautiful Bill, thanks for the comment.

Remarkable attention to detail - I bet they were boiling in that gear in July! Especially like your main photo.
Les Auld: Not really Mike, for most of the day the rain was coming down in stair-rods, thanks for the comment.
