photoblog image The 1960s Room

The 1960s Room

As you ascend the Rocket Tower at the Nataional Space Centre in Leicester you come across the 1960s room. Decorated in the pyschodelic wallpaper popular in the era and the tradional painting on the wall, it is presented as a simple time capsule. Playing on the television is the recording of the first Moon Landing on the 20th July 1969.
