Have I mentioned yet that Astrid and I recently watched the Band of Brothers series on DVD. Your images here are bringing it all back alive, Les, and beautifully so.
Les Auld: There is a certain similarity Ginnie, no doubt the re-enactors take inspiration from such shows. Thanks for the comment.
On the news yesterday they said we have the 4th highest defence budget in the world at some £34 billion. I can't understand why

A fine action shot Les. When I went and there was a Victorian soldiering thing going on I think my friend & I were the only members of the public there because of a football match on TV
Les Auld: They don't know what they were missing Chris, I wouldn't mind see the Victorians but it is a bit far unless I can combine it with something else. Thanks for the comment.
