Last Sunday was the Tatton Hall Medieval Fayre with several hundred re-enactors, many of them in full armour, participating in the camp life, stalls and the battle on the field. there was a fine bit of over acting by many of the soldiers, including King Edward here, as they fought themselves to a standstill over an hour in the hot sun. I'm sure that at least a few of them came away from the event with some bruises.
The guns provided a fine counter-point to the sounds of battle as they fired away in the background.
