Lady Ramsbottom and her companion stroll along the platform whilst in the background a Suffragette prepares to protest the status quo, wanting to achieve Votes for Women in the early 20th century. Not long after the protest descends into violance as a member of the local constabulary is attcked by a small group of Suffragettes. After calling up re-inforcements the ladies are taken off to be arrested for affray.

Women died for the right to vote and be treated as equals in this country. It grieves me that in many countries they are still not treated equally.

OMG, Les. What a reenactment that must have been! Bill is so right. It's easy for us women in certain parts of the world to take these rights for granted today. But all we have to do is turn on the TV news to see where others are still in the dark ages. (Sigh)
