Trotting at the Fair

During the Appleby Horse fair one of the local roads is closed to allow the horses to be shown pulling trotting carts and being ridden at speed. However in the interests of Health and Safety the Cumbrian Police provide a notice declaiming all responsibility for any accidents that may happen.
