As the Winter Watch passed the Christmas Cooks stop to perform in front of the crowd, to a selection of music they danced around the street, elegant but strange. How ever all was not as it seemed, one of the cooks found she had an empty platter and the butler was not amused. The other cooks ran to her aid, surrounding her to prevent the butler getting to her with a cleaver in his hand. Alas the protection of the cooks was of no avail and the Butler had his wicked way with the recalcitrant cook, her head was served up on her platter, empty no more.
Indeed a most unusual piece of entertainment.
The Youtube video below shows some of the Winter Watch Parade, the Cooks Dance is about 1 minute 30 seconds from the start.
