The Temple of Piety

 

Studley Royal Gardens are part of the Fountains Abbey World Heritage Site in Yorkshire. walking down thw valley from the abbey you come across the Temple of Piety, built it is believed as a tribute to Hercules, in around 1730. It stands on the shaded side of the valley in front of the Moon Pools of the Studley Royal water Garden and the River Skell.
