Another beauty, Les. It amazes me how many of these are still around!
Les Auld: I suspect that the UK has the highest number of preserved steam locos to be found anywhere, so plenty left for me to photograph. Thanks for the comment.

Les Auld: Or Chester as well Bill, thanks for the comemnt.

A lovely image Les: I remember this locomotive in service. I also travelled over this route circa 1961 going to Butlins
Les Auld: I can remember Halls at Chester but not their identities, grand locos though. Thanks for the comment Chris.
My word, what a backdrop for this engineering masterpiece! (:o)
Les Auld: The Dee valley is rather splendid Rosayl, thanks for the comment.
another excellent capture of the engine working
Les Auld: Thanks Derek, appreciate the comment.
Great shot Les. We passed by on Saturday on the way home from holiday. Usually we call in at Carrog but didn't this time, we went on to Chirk Castle further down the road.
Les Auld: The gala was not too bad Brian, it is a while since I was at Chirk though. Thanks for the comment.
Wow! That train looks as if it's come straight out of a painting.
Les Auld: Thanks Ellie, just a bit of Pp and there you are.
