The Last Remnant ...

... of the old Princess Landing Stage in Liverpool, All the ferries, liners and many other ships would start and finish their Atlantic journies here. The Ticket Collectors Kiosk is falling apart but still here. I have posted this building before but keep going back to it, making sure it is still there perhaps.

Taken whilst waiting for the Queen Victoria Fireworks last Monday.

There's a lot of history here Les but I doubt if it's going to last much longer from the look of it
Les Auld: I do hope it lasts a bit longer Chris, thanks for the comment.
The treatment is superb Les. You are the official chronicler of the decline of this building
Les Auld: And will continue doing so until something happens to it Bill, thanks for the comment.
Lovely image, really enriched by your treatment. (:o)
Les Auld: Thanks Rosalyn, seemed to work ok.
Great picture, great treatment, the gull is the icing on the cake. The only thing that puts me off hugely, and sorry for saying so, is the horizon not being aligned.
Les Auld: You are so right Marion, now I see the mis-alignment I will have to do something about it as I was thinking of using this image in a club competition. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it.
This is outstanding.
Les Auld: Thank you Odd, appreciate the comment.

Very good procecssing
Les Auld: Thanks Vintage, appreciate the comment.
Great shot Les, how sad to see the old landing stage like this.
Les Auld: At keast it still stands Brian, thanks for the comment.
A fine subject, by the looks of things, just caught in time.
Les Auld: I do wonder just how much longer it will last John, thanks for the comment.
Oh, glad you agree!! And I think you will score very high in a competition, once it is aligned!!! It is an awesome picture
Les Auld: Thanks once again Marion, I appreciate the constructive feedback.

I hope that a heavy seagull does not bring it down, Les! I like the pastel feel to this.
Les Auld: I don't think it would take too much weight and the seagulls around here are pretty heavy thanks to their diet of chips, thanks for the comment Alan.
