Skyraiders

There were three Douglas A-1 Skyraiders on the flightline. Designed for the US Navy the Skyraider served from the 1950s to the early 1970s, proving bomber/torpedo and attack capabilities for all the US services. A large aircraft, it was one of the last propeller driven fighters to see service.

They look good lined up together like that Les, very authentic and the two guys really add to the scene.
Les Auld: Thanks Brian, the flight line walk was well worth the effort.
