Now that I've actually been to a steam festival, Les, these shots have more and more meaning for me! This one's a beauty.
Les Auld: She certainly is Ginnie, I do like your detail pictures from your visit and thanks for the comment.
It was a brilliant weekend for it. Pity we were away.
Les Auld: Very hot and crowded though Bill there were no spare parking places at Bridgenorth when I arrived so I ended up in Hampton Lode. Thanks for the comment.

A polished performance that the 7812 put up.
Les Auld: So polished it gleamed, thanks for the comment Louis.
I particularly like the 'bronze bit on the funnel Les.
Les Auld: Ah the copper cap unique to the GWR Chad, a nice detail, thanks for the comment.

Les Auld: There were ten or so built in the early fifties I think Chris, thanks for the comment.
A fine shot of a fine engine Les, and literally nothing dates this to 2010.
Les Auld: It is all hidden behind the engine Brian, thanks for the comment.
I agree a fine shot from a more civilised age.
Les Auld: Certainly less pressure than these days John, thanks for the comment.
these machines are so well maintained and look like new, great shot
Les Auld: They are very well cared for Derek, thanks for the comment.
