Time Travel

Whitsun weekend came upon us so stepping into my time machine I travelled back to the year 1075 for the Battle of Rhuddlan, going via 1644 to see the Lancashire Militia training and 1944 to see the Battle for Regensberg on the East Lancashire Railway.

On the left is a Saxon Warrior guarding the gate into the encampment.

Central is the Colonel of the Lancashire Militia.

On the right is a member of the French Maquis having just shot a few German officers.

What a great array of costumes, Les! It;s interesting to see the change of clothing over the years.
Les Auld: And how the re-enactors strive to get it right Alan. Thanks for the comment.
