photoblog image AIDAaura leaving Liverpool

AIDAaura leaving Liverpool

Sunday saw the first of this year' Cruise Liner visits to the City of Liverpool Cruise Terminal on the Mersey. The AIDAaura shines in the early afternoon sun as seen from the Mersey Ferry as it leaves Liverpool.

The jet ski riders were also out jumping over the wakes of the ferry and the AIDAaura, quite a dangerous pastime really.

In the background is the Fast Craft Manannan that is on the Isle of Man run for the summer.

One of my other pictures of the AIDAaura,
this one, will be published tomorrow in the Liverpool Echo, I say this purely for the honour of course, as you would understand, not a penny changes hands.

Both your pictures are a delight Les. I rather like the silly face on the vessel: the idiot on the jet ski gets all he deserves if it runs him over
Les Auld: The Jet skiers were all over the wakes of the ship and the ferry, it did look great in the evening sun. Thanks for the comment Chris.
The inclusion of the jet ski really makes it Les.
Les Auld: Thanks Ron, appreciate the comment.
Well done on both pictures Les. The jet ski fills the foreground nicely but it is a bit dangerous I suspect.
Les Auld: It can be Brain, especially if he fell off, thanks for the comment.
