The Home Guard
Last weekend saw the Haworth Village 1940's weekend, where many 19040's re-enactors and what appeared to be several thousand visitors descend on the village and parade up and down Main Street, which is a very steep cobbled road.
The Home Guard post was at the bottom of the road, manned throughout the day by volounteers making sure it all went off in a timely manor.
