The Navy's Here


This weeks Naval Call at the City of Liverpool Cruise liner Terminal is the Brazilian Navy's frigate Independencia. Built in Rio de Janeiro under licence, she entered service in 1979 and was refurbished in 2006.

She has been participating in the exercise JOINT WARRIOR off the west coast of Scotland and is spending a few days in Liverpool before sailing on.
