Colurs at sunset

The age-old naval tradition of lowering the colours at sunset is re-enacted aboard HMS Shoreham in Canning Half Tide Dock as the sun sinks below the horizon.

The vessel is the latest of the Royal Navy's Single Role Minehunter Sandown Class, launched in 2001

and on a courtesy visit to Liverpool.

Superb, Les. The title says it all. Beautiful colours in the sky and plenty of detail in the shadows on the ship.
Les Auld: Needed a little post processing Alan, but it did seem to work. Thanks for the comment.
Good to see some traditions being kept Les.
Les Auld: It is indeed Brian, thanks for the comment.
