A tune-up before the off

The ex Great Western large prairie tank 4160 is given the once over at Minehead Locomotive shed on the West Somerset Railway before signing on for the day's duties. Built in 1948, 4160 was intended for use on semi-fast passenger trains but the class was also used for all sorts of mixed duties across the region. Ten locomotives eventually found their way onto the preservation scene.

I like this in B&W Les, it dates it very nicely. Enjoy the GCR, Tornado was in great form today.
Les Auld: Thanks Brian, it does suit B&W. Tornado really performed on Sunday as well.

No I got to see this her several times in the past few days but - and I knew this could be the case even before I went - yours is the best view I've seen of her. Usually, I seem to catch her running bunker first... grrrr!
Les Auld: Thanks for the comemnt Alan, it was a grand few days in Somerset.
