Getting the green light

Ex LMS Royal Scot 64155, Scots Guardsman, gets the green light for the Cotton Mills Express at Preston Station on Saturday 13th February. Two weeks early the same train failed at Preston so had to be rescheduled. This time it managed to get as far as Eccles where 46115's middle big end failed, so the tour came to another early end.

Oh dear! That's a shame. Still even the much more modern Eurostar break down! I like the cloud of steam that is blocking out a group of photographers (I should think!) plus the reflections on the tender.

..Eccles? Wasn't that one of the Goons?
Les Auld: One of Peter Sellers' characters I think Alan, also famous for Eccles Cakes, delightful that they are. Thanks for the comment.

Les Auld: Sounds painful Ron, thanks for the comment.
Very nice Les, has this had a touch of Topaz to bring out the reflection?
Les Auld: Several processes Brian, HDR Tone Mapped in Photomatix then Photoshop, Topaz Adjust and Topaz Detail Brian, all to bring out the details. thanks for the comment.

Les Auld: Modern signalling in a older age Charles, thanks for the comment.
