Waiting at the Station

A fine Saturday morning at the Ribble Steam Railway. The Austerity engine Cumbria, owned by the Furness Railway Trust, is in the siding on the left whilst John Howe is the pilot engine for the ex GWR Coal Tank 5643 as they wait for the signal to pull away for a trip down the line. You can see here just how small John Howe is compared to a relatively small Great Western Railway branch tank engine.
