photoblog image A quiet time....

A quiet time....

.... not really! The steam was hissing out of the drain cocks, the beat of the smoke from the chimney, the rattle of loose couplings from the wagons, the cries of the crowds around the engine and the clicking of many camera shutters like crickets in a field of overgrown grass.

The crew of 90773 wait for the off surrounded by steam and smoke at Bury Bolton Street Station last weekend.
