No Tram Today

No more snow and a fine afternoon yesterday so a walk around the front at Southport was called for. The Pier is snowed in and only a few people were out and about.

Looks like there is lots of snow everywhere--we've got tons of it. Nice clear shot!
Les Auld: Not so much tons Dawn, just a few pounds really. Thanks for the comment.

This is one of those images that just wakes you up, Les! I love it in every way. The vanishing-point perspective is wonderful and the lighting is scrumptuous. I'll let Louis tell you that it would be improved by straightening the horizon. smile
Les Auld: But the sea does flow downhill past Liverpool Ginnie smile. Thanks for the comment.

Fabullous, les. I like like the perspective in this with the arching lamps. Really needed the woman to be wearing a red coat, though wink
Les Auld: Just could not wait for a red coat Alan, it was cold and I fancied a cup of tea. Thanks for the comment.
Where's all the little trains Les. What a difference to your shot of the other day, you were there at a very good time for lighting and composition.
Les Auld: Tucked up in their little house Brian, thanks for the comment.
Snow has been catching us all...This is a fine shot..showing the snow down to the waters edge. A good composition too Les.
Les Auld: Thanks Ron, appreciate the comment.
What an unusual pier with the arches. The person is perfectly placed and the angle you shot from is ideal Les
Les Auld: Recentlt refurbished Pamela, thanks for the comment.
