photoblog image Liverpool One Odeon and the Big Wheel

Liverpool One Odeon and the Big Wheel

I went to the cinema the other day for the first time in ages to see the film 2012, a bit like the curate's egg - good and bad in parts. Good special effects but terrible story and far too long. I saw it at the Liverpool Odeon at the top of Liverpool One and along the front are a number of restaurants and Bars as well. The windows of these provided an excellent reason for taking a reflection shot showing the new Big Wheel on Chavasse Park.

Nice little advert for Debenhams as well, great night/reflctive shot Les,have you played with colours or is it as shot?
Les Auld: More or less as seen Graham, a mild touch-up in Photoshop only. Thanks for the comment.
This works a treat with the lights and reflections. The trouble with too many films now. Too long, too much spent on the CGI effects and 20p spent on the script
Les Auld: As much as 20p, I'm amazed. Thanks for the comment Bill.
Nice one Les.
Les Auld: Thanks Michael, appreciate the comment.
Yes...the glass is very effective. Good photo..
Bill has it in one..about modern blockbuster films..such a shame.
Les Auld: He does have a good point Ron, thanks for the comment.
A well spotted reflection there Les.
Les Auld: There are so many reflections around there Brian, thanks for the comment.
Really nice night shot, with the reflections, and an Indian restaurant Yum!
Les Auld: Just one of several international style restaurants along there Linda, thanks for the comment.
