photoblog image The Penguins are coming

The Penguins are coming

As a follow-up to last years very successful Go Superlambanana in Liverpool the City Council have this year decided to back the Go Penguin Parade.  So from From 22 November to 10 January, colonies of beautifully designed penguins created by artists, schools and community groups form a dazzling Trail in outdoor and indoor venes across Liverpool, Wirral and St. Helens.

The penguins will range from 3 foot high to 5 foot high, this preview is of the Merseybeaks, four three foot high penguins in the Mersey Ferries building at the Pier Head. Probably destined for the Beatles Museum on the first floor.

So in the coming months I expect to see hundreds of picture of Penguins on sites such as Flickr as people try to get the complete set as they did with the Superlambananas last year.
