This is the kind of image that just enthralls me, Les. You really have a way of taking something ho-hum and making it outstanding!
Les Auld: Have to admit having a bit of help here Ginnie, the light was just right. Thanks for the comment.
It is an interesting mixture of buildings. I can hear Gerry and the Pacemakers!!
Les Auld: And so you would if you were on the ferry, they play it every time you leave the landing stage. Thanks for the comment Bill.

This is gorgeous lighting Les: that dark sky has assisted you
Les Auld: It did indeed Chris, thanks for the comment.
I was on the snowdrop looking at the big grey ship, the water is a lot calmer in this great shot Les.
Les Auld: The ferry is great in any weather Linda, thanks for the comment.
All in all Les....A lovely picture. Well done.
Les Auld: And that is all there is... Thanks for the comment Ron.

Delightful light Les - you are a one man publicity machine for the Mersey and those who sail on her.
Les Auld: Praise indeed Mike, thanks for the comment.

It's been many years since I've been to Liverpool, Les, but I recognise nothing! Those look to be fine ferries of the "old school"
Les Auld: They are in deed Alan, the Snowdrop used to be the MV Woodchurch and was built in the 60s. Thanks for the comment.
A fine picture Les, you were so lucky to get this lighting, you certainly won't today if your weather is like ours.
Les Auld: It did rain a bit later Brian, thanks for the comment.

Goodness, the skyline certainly is changing isn't it.
Les Auld: Slowing down a bit now Ellie but could step up a gear again in the coming years if Peel Holdings have their way. Thanks for the comment.
