It's been a long day...

....and I want to go home

This weekend saw the last Steam Gala of the year on the East Lancashire Railway. Apart from an hour or so Sunday was grey and wet and it looks like it was hard work for the train crews, volounteers to a man, and woman. This gentleman was part of the crew of ex-LMS Stanier Black 5 45407, The Lancashire Fusilier, and the train was standing in Bolton Street Station, Bury just as the rain really started to fall.

All the rain and cloud makes photography difficult. You succeeded in conveying this guy's deepest wish - to be home smile
Les Auld: And it did indeed rain Louis, thanks for the comment.
Great processing Les. he really does look a bit fed up doesn't he, till he pulls that regulator probably.
Les Auld: And then all the excitement starts again Brian, thanks for the comment.
