On the Waterfront


For three days over the weekend the Pier Head in Liverpool was converted to an open air cinema. Showing shorts and old feature films for free in the cold evening air. The large end window of the new Liverpool Museum was converted to a cinema screen and the films projected onto it from a portacabin above the canal.

I went down on the Saturday night, crisp but cold, There were several hundred people milling about and sitting around for the show. It was quite difficult to take any decent pictures because of the low light, most turned out rubbish bit a few were acceptable. (and it was free)

A good effort in that dull lighting...Free viewing..is this a new idea Les.
