photoblog image Friday Night Sunset

Friday Night Sunset

I was sitting there last night minding my  own business commenting on fellow Shutterchancer's images when I looked up and saw the sky through the window looking all dramatic. It just called for a photograph so I grabbed the camera and spent all of 1 minute heading over to the embankment to take this one, then I posted it five minutes later, no fiddling only cropped and levels sorted out.

Fantastic sky,Les smile
Les Auld: It is Julian, thanks for the comment.
You got all fired up then. Reminds me of the comments made, by the likes of Dave Carrington, David Johnson and Alistair Parker (to name but a few), about the number of sunsets that people take ... ABS - Another Bloody Sunset. ;-)

but this is a good one Les.

Les Auld: One of the penalties of living on the North West Coast is the quality and number of sunsets, as i am sure the other NW Coast photographers you mention would agree. You do have to restrain yourself as it could cause significant sunset fatigue. There was another grand one tonight but I did manage some restraint.smile

Thansk for the comemnt.
What an amazing sky Les !!!
Regards Jim
