Down South the numbers of horses over the previous few years has been at an all time high, farriers being in great demand also, but the Smithy is another thing that has vanished.Very picturesque scene Les.
Les Auld: There are a few smithys left around here Graham but they seem to do mainly ornamental ironwork these days. Thanks for the comment.

I can only echo Graham's comment Les - but I think it's only fair to point out you've had a good twiddle here
Les Auld: Thanks Chris, in order to get detail in the sky I exposed for that area so resulting in a very dark building but it is amazing just how much detail is retained in the shadows of a digital image and most of it can be brought out in post processing.
This has great charm Les.
Les Auld: Looks even better when the flowers are blooming Bill, thanks for the comment.
Apart from being a very nice image les your processing has given it a great finish.
Les Auld: Thanks Briansmile
This has a lovely painting feel to it, Les. Is this done with Topaz Adjust? A lovely little bit of history here, too and interesting notes added by Graham.
Les Auld: I did use one of the Topaz Adjust pre-sets on it Alan, thanks for the comment.
