The 32 Steps

One of the occasional series of MerseyRail station images. This is Hillside, two stations before Southport, on the Northern Line. The train is heading towards Southport.

I like the station scene!
Les Auld: Thanks Rolf, appreciate the comment.
Not a reference to a cut-down sequel to John Buchan's "39 Steps" is it? The station looks quite tidy, les, but the train looks as though it could do with a wash.
Les Auld: Not quite Buchan's masterpiece Alan, thanks for the comment.
LOL I was thinking how nicely colour coded the train was with the signs, but then it dawned on me that it is by design, not accident ;o)

Funny about the 32 steps too, its not that you have a choice once you are there ;o)
Les Auld: Corporate colours Mike, thanks for the comment.
the train looks like it belongs in the scrap yard Les, but i like your shot and ppingsmile
Les Auld: Just a bit battered from heavy use Tim, thanks for the comment.
Nice processing Les.
Les Auld: Thanks Ron.
Unusual but very strong composition Les and the processing really works well.
Les Auld: Thanks Brian, tried for something a bit different for a change.
