What a nice job this must have been before the days of automation.Very nice composition Les.

Tu t, tut, Les.. not like you toleave that horizon with a slight slope! I do like the low angle to make the most of the foreground.
Les Auld: Ah Alan you have stumbled over one of the best kept secrets of the Mersey, it has to climb as it exits into Liverpool Bay so giving a false tilt to the horizon. appreciate the comment. smile

I know you have a thing about Perch Rock. Here is a link to a shot my grandfather took about 1906. It was a scan from a very poor glass half plate.
