I remember these ice cream tricycles as a lad, this one is on the Embsay and Bolton Abbey railway at the Bolton Abbey station. The poster on the fence is for Ingleton Falls in the Yorkshire Dales.
Stop me and buy one

So do I. We used to live by the bypass in Exeter and watch these being pedalled up and down selling ice creams to the holidaymakers stuck in the traffic!
Les Auld: Ah such was life back then Bill, thanks for the comment.
I'm not a mechanical engineer, but even I can see that the damn thing is assembled backwards. By logic, as it's presented here, it shouldn't work, don't you think, Les? How in the world can one steer this moster?
Les Auld: By the rear wheel sir, thanks for the comment.
They were never painted green, always white with dry ice and ice creams and lollies. They don't do the suburbs anymore, but you may just find a seller parked at the zoo or such place.
As a boy, when the guy was stopped for ice cream, I tried to ride this contraption. Difficult to get into a forward motion and to steer - and I was bicycle fit at the time.
Les Auld: They were pink and white by us in days gone by, thanks for the comment Louis.
