A Fine Wake

The last of the powerboat classes at Carr Mill was the OSY400 Hydroplane, this boat is the cheapest way into power boating, if you have a spare 2,500GBP then you can get a new boat into the water. They are quite small and capable of reaching 70MPH down the straight.

I quite like the way the relatively high shutter speed has caught the wake the wake is thrown out by the outboard motor.

Great wake plume
Les Auld: Certainly shows the movement, thanks for the comment Zed.
Absolutly fantastic Les. A great feel of speed here!
Les Auld: Thanks Richard, appreciate the comment.
This looks quite a small boat les, but it certainly puts up a good wake.
Les Auld: It is small Brian, just a plank with sides and an engine really. Thanks for the comment.
