Field of Hope
Way back in 1991 One Million Daffodils were planted in Sefton Park in Liverpool by the Marie Curie Foundation for Cancer Research and since then they have spread anew each spring as a sign of hope and encouragement that this disease can be beaten. This is just a small part of the large sit that is increasing year on year.
Sefton Park is Liverpool's premier park, with over 269 acres of green land, trees and lakes, it has been designated as an English Heritage Grade II Landscape.
