Next door to yesterday's post is Beetham House, built in1871. It looks like it may have been a warehouse now  converted to offices but I am not sure about it.

Some of these old buildings are very imposing Les. This is quite an attractive building IMHO.

There is something rather American about this building Les, not that I know anything about old American buildings!

It has a lovely understated elegance about it ..and a sort Of Edward Hopper feel to it. These last two postings are right up my street. richard
