Along came a spider...

As part of the Liverpool Biennial the Chinese artist Ai Weiwei has thrown up a giant, shimmering spider web high above Exchange Flags behind the Town Hall — a delicate skein of steel cables strung with of LED lights with the spider itself dangling from the centre, like a chandelier.

The building in the background is Derby House which was the headquarters of the Western Approaches during World War II.
