There is a boat coming in

The Irish boat heads up-river towards Twelve Quays on a fine afternoon.

In the foreground is St. Johns Beacon and in the middle distance is the Tobacco Warehouse at Stanley Dock, the largest brick built building in the world when it was completed.

Love the brick building, hate the wind turbines! The light really does make the best of the brickwork. Your link to the Tobacco Warehouse not working for me.. get a 404 error.
Les Auld: Wind Turbines, the blight of our lives these days, taht one is new and there were two more when I went past on the train the other day. Thanks for the comment Alan.
Superb bird's-eye-view Les. The lighting on the bricks buildings is fantastic!
Your links don't work (404 errors!)
Les Auld: Thanks Richard, replaced them and they now seem to work.
You really made the most of your high level trip above Liverpool Les, another fine panorama. The photos on the links, which worked for me, are very good as well.
Les Auld: The best half hour I have spent recently, even though it was freezing up there. Thanks for the comment Brian.
The building (warehouse ) looks a photographers joy ... Can you get close? Can you get inside ...?
Can I come up and break in with you Les. ;-) richard
Les Auld: Fairly close and they hold a Heritage Market inside on a Sunday, but I would not take a camera in there you never know just what would happen. Thanks for the comment Richard.
