Even from the thumbnail, I thought "railways"! A classic view from the good old days of rail travel. I don't think that this would have had the same impact if the three buckets had been there.

I've got a similar shot from the GCR to this I was going to post Les, perhaps I'd better not now. I've also got one from the L.& B.at Woody Bay, Devon. I think this gains from having one missing to be honest.
